EXTERNAL FEATURE

Window Options

Outdoor Options windows come in 18’’ x 27’’, 22” x 36” or 30’’ x 40’’ with screens. We can add them to your shed to match your style and lighting preferences. If you’re looking for a way to fancy up your new shed try grouping windows together in double or triple sets. This is especially nice if you plan to spend some time “working” in the shed. Most of our windows are white aluminum with a grid. They are single pane and single hung with locking slides, so you're not going to win any energy star awards with them but they will get the job done every time.

Roofline Options

We offer gambrel, A-frame, and hip rooflines in several different roof pitches, guaranteed to give your shed the style you are looking for. Gambrel roofs have a barn style look that give maximum storage overhead with plenty of room for loft storage. A-Frame roofs have a traditional gable style construction. If this is the look you want but need the overhead storage space we can extend the side walls and install a steeper pitch roof to make loft storage possible. Hip roofs are all about the look and wall protection with no gable and pitched roof on all four walls; this style is sure to make you the talk of the neighborhood and your house THE go to house for shed ideas. We prefer to install 29GA steel metal roofing but also offer 3 Tab or Architectural grade shingles. We also have a couple of boxed eave options to choose from if you are looking for a way to fancy up your new shed, a nice wide fascia and soffit is sure to keep the neighbors rolling in for a closer look at luxury storage they have only dreamt of.

Vent Options

A gable vent will keep your building cool and fresh with great airflow, making stale, musty storage a thing of the past. All our vents are framed on the inside to create the support needed to ensure years of leak free ventilation. We also trim the outside to match so even this functional feature has great curb appeal. If you want to take your ventilation game to a whole nother level, we can add ridge vents along the peak of the building for maximum airflow.

Door Options

Our sheds come standard with a 4’ insulated fiberglass door with a locking door knob to keep the honest people out or if that’s not big enough can upgrade the same door to 5’ wide. Don’t laugh, honest people come in all sizes; sometimes 5’ is what it takes. We even have 6’ or 8’ double doors for all your BIG stuff but if you’re driving anything in your new shed then a 6’, 8’ or 9’ wide roll-up or garage door is a decision you won’t regret. Just unlatch it and let ‘er fly! Up and out of the way so you can whip your “lawnmower” in and out so easy you might even let your wife give it a try. Come on let’s face it; you don’t want to have to dodge two swinging double doors every time you want to take your “lawnmower’’ out for a spin around the block. We can finish off your wheeling good time with an all aluminum ramp complete with extrude non slip aluminum decking to make building a ramp one less thing on your honey do list.

Siding Options

Whether you want Wood, Steel, Aluminum, Painted, Stained or Hardie Board we can make it happen. Siding isn’t just about the look or the price. We recommend thinking about what kind of maintenance you want to invest into maintaining your shed as part of the decision process. We choose the lowest maintenance options for each type of siding to offer our customers because we know you have better things to do than worry about your shed siding. But the reality is, any wood siding is going to need maintenance and if wood siding is what you (or your wife’s) gotta have, then we will do our best to make it as easy on you as we can. And if that’s not easy enough we can install Hardie Board so you can just tell everyone you're maintaining your shed siding. Don’t worry we won’t tell the in laws about all the free time you have.

7. Installation & Foundation Preparation

Your new shed is BIG!

  1. We need a clear path 2 feet wider than your building to the building site.
  2. We will install your building with our Mule so you don't have to worry about having enough space or the damage from having a truck and trailer in your yard.

  3. Think about gates, fences, and trees. Also, think about overhead obstacles like power lines or low hanging limbs. Tight spots and turns are fine. We can handle hills and slopes but some retaining walls will require additional equipment.

  4. Mark any underground obstacles like septic tanks or old stumps and water or electric lines.

Clean up that sh!@ site, yep shed site, after all, we're professionals :)

  1. The place your building is going needs to be clear of debris including trash, grass clippings, and fallen leaves.
  2. If you are hoping to cover up your dog’s favorite bathroom paradise then please give it one last clean up before getting your new structure delivered.

  3. If you have to do some clearing and brush burning to get your building where you want it, make sure any ash is removed and there are no hot spots left under your new structure.

You’ve done enough, let us handle it from here.

  1. We have all the equipment and supplies to handle any situation we have encountered.
  2. We will bring all the leveling supplies we need to level your building so you don’t need to worry about having blocks available.

  3. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the show, because when we are finished; your real work is about to begin. That’s right, your new structure is EMPTY, it’s your job to fill it up! Happy hoarding, or storing or organizing or whatever you want to call it.
