The foundation of our kennels starts with treated runners. For 8' wide kennels, we include two 4x6 treated runners, while 12' wide or larger kennels come with four 4x6 treated runners. These treated runners are specifically chosen for their ability to resist rot and decay, ensuring long-lasting support for the kennel structure.

To further reinforce the floor, we utilize treated 2x4 floor joists. These floor joists are spaced on 12" centers, providing a solid and stable base. However, if you prefer even stronger floor support, we offer the option to upgrade to 2x6 treated floor joists.

For 14' and 16' buildings, we use 2x6 treated floor joists as a standard. This upgrade enhances the structural integrity of the kennel, offering additional strength and stability.

To complete the flooring, we use 5/8 treated plywood. This premium-grade plywood provides a smooth and sturdy surface for your dogs to walk and rest on. It is treated to resist moisture and rot, ensuring longevity and durability in various weather conditions.

The outside run flooring is made of Composite Board, which is designed to withstand heavy use and provide traction for your dogs. This material offers excellent durability and is resistant to weathering, ensuring it will stand up to the rigors of outdoor use.

With our carefully selected and treated flooring materials, you can be confident that your dogs will have a comfortable and secure surface to walk and play on within our portable Dog Kennels.

Craftsmanship and Quality:

Our Dog Kennels are built with a sturdy and reliable framing system to ensure long-lasting durability and structural integrity. The walls of the kennels are constructed using 2x4 studs on 24" centers, providing a strong framework that can withstand the test of time. This spacing ensures proper weight distribution and stability throughout the structure.

For those seeking additional strength and support, we offer the option of 2x4 studs on 16" centers. This closer stud spacing enhances the overall structural integrity of the kennel, making it suitable for areas with high winds or heavy snow loads.

To enclose the walls, we utilize premium grade 5/8 Treated T1-11 siding. This siding not only adds a visually appealing finish to the kennels but also offers excellent resistance against moisture, pests, and other environmental elements. The treated nature of the siding provides added protection against decay and ensures the longevity of the structure.

The walls of our Dog Kennels stand at a height of 6' 1/2" by default, providing ample headroom for your dogs to move comfortably. However, if you require taller walls, we offer an optional upgrade to approximately 7' 1/2" height. This taller configuration is ideal for larger breeds or if you prefer to have extra vertical space within the kennel.

To allow for convenient access, each run of the kennel comes equipped with a Large Pet Door. This door allows your dogs to move freely between the indoor and outdoor areas of the kennel while ensuring security and containment.
